The car is one of the most attractive products launched by Hyundai India as this is a perfect compact SUV and it is very aggressively so the buyers can buy it easily with some good features but it has some down side also in its safety features. The front grill of this car looks very aggressive and the LED DRL are surrounded on the fog lamps also looks good. This car comes with 17 inch alloy wheels , the alloy wheels also very attractive but the alloy wheels you will get in top models.

Compass has little bit much better space in the rear seats with good knee room and head room for the rear sitting people . The white colored seats makes the cabin more spacious looking cabin than in creta as creta has black seats. The car lacks in keeping the nick , nacks in the cabin and the glove box is also not very large enough. The boot space of jeep compass is 438 L about 40 L more than that of creta. DRIVING DYNAMICS OF CARS

CRETA

Creta comes with one petrol engine choice and two diesel engine choice . The petrol engine is of 1.6L engine which makes about 122bhp power and 151 Nm torque. The smaller diesel engine makes 89bhp of power and 220Nm torque and the larger diesel engine is a 1.6L diesel engine which makes about 126bhp and 260Nm engine this engine is very refined engine and also a very powerful engine.

While driving this car the gear shifts are very smooth and do not involve and do not need too much heavy hand. The steering wheel also gives a good feedback while driving the car , the steering wheel is also on a lighter side. The suspension setup of this car is also very good it moves good on pot holes and there is less feel of bumps in the cabin. The power of this car is mainly between 1900rpm to 4500rpm . 

The fuel economy given by 1.6 L diesel car is 14 to 16 kmpl in city and about 19 to 21 kmpl on highway , so the average fuel economy is about 17kmpl .

COMPASS

Compass comes with 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine which makes about 160bhp of power and 250Nm of torque while the diesel engine is of 2.0L which makes 170bhp of power and 350Nm of torque . Both the petrol as well as diesel engines are very powerful and best for off roading. You will never feel any need of more power while driving this car.

The cabin is isolated from outside noise and there is very less noise of engine noise as well. As this car is use for off roading the gear shifts in this car is little on harder side . The  steering wheel also give very good feedback while driving the car and you can push this car in corners and car will always give a good feedback.

The fuel economy of 2.0L diesel engine is definately will be less as compared to creta as the the engine is much more powerful engine it gives about 12 to 14 kmpl in city and about 16 to 17kmpl on highway, so the average mileage is about 15kmpl.

CRETA total points is of about 85 .
COMPASS total points is of strong 86 .

So ,both of this cars are equally good but if you have a budget under 17 lakhs you should choose CRETA SX(o) diesel model without any doubt as it is much better than jeep compass ,but if you do not have any budget problem go for "longitude optional or the limited" model in this car
