Both of the cars in this comparison are not old much as the one is launch recently and while the other car has got recent face lift. The Xcent comes from Hyundai dealership and the Tigor comes from Tata dealerships both of them are very attractive in there looks.
But both of these cars misses in something and has got some thing which the other car lacks , there sales are also good in market but the popular cars like maruti Suzuki dezire and honda amaze is giving a huge competition to both of these cars.

ABOUT TIGOR
Tigor is the one of the best tigor which is launched by Tata in recent years it has some amazing features. Seats of this car are much better than the one in its rival, as they are on the softer side and are good cution, that why they are good for both for short journeys as well as long journeys . ABOUT XCENT
Xcent is good looking car but when compare to its rival it doesn't amaze you as that the Tigor does but the looks are subjective so we will not say much as some people will love it looks . The other bad thing is that its seats are not cution well and you feel back pain on the long journeys. The one thing where it beats the Tigor , is its huge feature list :-

SPACE IN CAR
TIGOR
Tigor is a well spaced cabin with lot of place to keep your nicks and nacks and the four door also have space for keeping 500ml bottle on each door . The knee room , head room are good and are slightly better than the Xcent. The large window lines give the cabin a very airy feel with very good recline angle of rear seats.
Tigor has the best segment boot of 419L and the hydraulics of boot is on outside which make the proper utilization of the boot , the only bad thing about boot is that the opening lib of boot is very small . So, this make very difficult to put that boxes inside the boot.

XCENT
Xcent cabin is also spacious and there are lot of places to keep your things and you can put your coke cans in the glove box and the cans will be cool. There is good knee room and head room , the transition line is also very less so siting three passengers will not be too much problem. 1L can easily fit on the four doors.
Xcent boot is also of decent size of 407 L and the opening very wide so there will be not so much problem in keeping the big boxes but the hydraulics comes in boot space so full there will be no use of the full boot.

DRIVING DYNAMICS
TIGOR
Tigor comes with two engine options one is the 1.2L turbo petrol which makes 84 bhp power and 114Nm torque and the other is 1.05 L diesel engine which makes 69 bhp and 140Nm torque. Both of the engines are very refined and are good in mid range .
The engines lacks power in the low range as you have to change gears more often when you are city driving and also lack in power especially the diesel one. The good thing is that its suspension is very good as it is very good on bad roads as it climbs over pot holes without much difficulty. The steering also give good feedback better than that in the Xcent.
The petrol gives the mileage mainly in between 14 to 15kmpl in city and 19 to 20kmpl on highway , the diesel engine gives 16 to 17kmpl in city and 21 to 23 kmpl on highway.(Scores on driving dynamics is 84)
XCENT
Xcent also comes with two engines one is 1.2L petrol engines which make 82bhp of power and 115Nm torque while diesel engine is also 1.2L which makes 74bhp of power and 190Nm torque. Both of the engines are very well powered.
The car is very good for highway use and city use and there is good amount of power but it has also some turbo lack present in them but they are better than the engine in Tigor in terms of power. The cabin is good isolated from the outside noise and there is very less bumps which enter in the cabin and the diesel engine clutch is as light as that of the petrol engine means the clutch is also quite good.
The petrol engine gives the mileage of about 12 to 14 kmpl in city and 16 to 18kmpl on highway while the diesel engine mileage is about 16 to 18 kmpl in city and 20 to 22 kmpl on highway.(Scores on driving dynamic is 90)
