It is very smooth and refined engine but have some cattery sound in the cabin. It has got McPherson Struck as front suspension and the rear suspension is Torsion beam. This suspension of car is make it quickest on the pot holes as well. This car also among the fastest engine than its rivals ,the things which makes little unknowing to drive this car in the city condition is the heavy steering as it requires effort in city and the other is the body roll of the car around corners.

This car is also one of the best car for the rear passengers at this price range because this car has got good knee room and leg room but the amaze has slightly better than this car , this car wideness has also increase a little bit which make good sitting for three passengers. This car got space inside in the car as it has two cup holders in the center console and there is space on the doors where you can keep 1 liter bottle on all the four doors. The glove box is also of decent size for keeping things.

The boot space is not as large as spacious than the one of the amaze but it is of good for keeping 4 passenger things for the long highway trips, this is of about  376 litres. The boot is also of very wide aperture which make it good for keeping your big boxes in the boot.

DRIVING DYNAMICS

This car comes with two engine options one is 1.3 liter, 4 cylinder diesel engine which makes about 75 hp of power and 190Nm of torque. The other one is the 1.2 liter petrol 4 cylinder engine which makes power of about 82hp and the torque of 113Nm. We are talking about diesel engine of this car as well.

This 1.3 liter engine is very less powered as compared to that of the 1.5 liter engine of amaze , the power is less on papers as you can see this also translate when you are driving car. This car does not have that punch while driving and you have down shift the gears when you are overtaking but this car is good for the city condition as it has smooth gear shift and the gear throws are also very small as well. The engine is good for the people who want only smooth driving and not that punchy feel from the car.

The diesel gives mileage of about 20 to 21 kmpl in city and 24 to 26 kmpl on highway which make average of 23.5 kmpl while the petrol engine gives 17 to 18 kmpl in city and 20 to 22 kmpl in highway conditions , so the average mileage is of about 19.5 kmpl.

The steering wheel on this car is on the lighter side and somewhat kills the excitement of putting this car in sharp corners and have feeling of control on the car in high speed. The brakes of this car are better than the brakes present on the other two cars as they are gentle when they are applied. This car comes with Quatrain all wheel drive which make it more enjoyable to drive.

This car takes only 7.80 sec from 0 to 100 which is better than the other two cars as mentioned below. The mileage of Q5 is the class leading as it gives 14 to 15 kmpl in city and 17 to 19 kmpl on highway which makes an average mileage of about 17 kmpl.

This car comes with boot space of about 505L which is of about 45L less than its competitor.If you fold your rear seats the boot space increases to about 1432L which is also less in comparison to its competitor.

The car has good space glove box and front armrest as well.

The boot of this car is class segment it is of about 550L and there is no leading lib so putting heavy boxes will not be that much problem and especially the boot has wide opening. You can also recline rear seats and the boot space will increase to 1600L by which all your big boxes can be stored in the boot without too much problem.

Hyundai active i20 is a less spacious car in terms of space , the boot space of this car is 285 liters , it is very less spaced boot the car above its segment have better boot than this car but the rear seat of this car has 60:40 split which make its boot quite spacious and useful when there are two people in car. The rear seat of this car has OK OK type leg room and head room as you cannot stretch your legs well in this car.

The other engine is of 1.4L diesel engine which makes about 90bhp of power and 220Nm of torque which is very well powered and it is the most refined engine in this comparison. 

The sitting in this car is low so the bumps in the car you feel very more as compared in the WRV. The engine of this car is between 2000rpm to 4000rpm and between this rpm is the punch of the car and it works best between this rpm only and below the 1500rpm engine is lacky and there is not much power for the enthusiast drivers.

But both of these cars misses in something and has got some thing which the other car lacks , there sales are also good in market but the popular cars like maruti Suzuki dezire and honda amaze is giving a huge competition to both of these cars.

Tigor is a well spaced cabin with lot of place to keep your nicks and nacks and the four door also have space for keeping 500ml bottle on each door . The knee room , head room are good and are slightly better than the Xcent. The large window lines give the cabin a very airy feel with very good recline angle of rear seats.

Tigor has the best segment boot of 419L and the hydraulics of boot is on outside which make the proper utilization of the boot , the only bad thing about boot is that the opening lib of boot is very small . So, this make very difficult to put that boxes inside the boot.

XCENT

Xcent cabin is also spacious and there are lot of places to keep your things and you can put your coke cans in the glove box and the cans will be cool. There is good knee room and head room , the transition line is also very less so siting three passengers will not be too much problem. 1L can easily fit on the four doors.

Xcent boot is also of decent size of 407 L and the opening very wide so there will be not so much problem in keeping the big boxes but the hydraulics comes in boot space so full there will be no use of the full boot.

TIGOR

Tigor comes with two engine options one is the 1.2L turbo petrol which makes 84 bhp power and 114Nm torque and the other is 1.05 L diesel engine which makes 69 bhp and 140Nm torque. Both of the engines are very refined and are good in mid range . 

The engines lacks power in the low range as you have to change gears more often when you are city driving and also lack in power especially the diesel one. The good thing is that its suspension is very good as it is very good on bad roads as it climbs over pot holes without much difficulty. The steering also give good feedback better than that in the Xcent.

The petrol gives the mileage mainly in between 14 to 15kmpl in city and 19 to 20kmpl on highway , the diesel engine gives 16 to 17kmpl in city and 21 to 23 kmpl on highway.(Scores on driving dynamics is 84)

XCENT

Xcent also comes with two engines one is 1.2L petrol engines which make 82bhp of power and 115Nm torque while diesel engine is also 1.2L which makes 74bhp of power and 190Nm torque. Both of the engines are very well powered.

The car is very good for highway use and city use and there is good amount of power but it has also some turbo lack present in them but they are better than the engine in Tigor in terms of power. The cabin is good isolated from the outside noise and there is very less bumps which enter in the cabin and the diesel engine clutch is as light as that of the petrol engine means the clutch is also quite good.

The petrol engine gives the mileage of about 12 to 14 kmpl in city and 16 to 18kmpl on highway while the diesel engine mileage is about 16 to 18 kmpl in city and 20 to 22 kmpl on highway.(Scores on driving dynamic is 90)
